FerroSpire Black

Black concrete pigment – magnetite and iron oxide

Black iron oxide is generally used for grey, anthracite and black concrete products. FerroSpire Black from IonSpire Materials is a liquid, water-based black pigment of natural magnetite (Fe3O4), based on Nordic natural raw materials.

Magnetite and black iron oxide

Magnetite (Fe3O4) is a black iron oxide. FerroSpire Black is made from natural magnetite, and the black pigment is based on Nordic natural raw materials.

Four black grades

FerroSpire Black comes in four grades: coarser black (IS-3101), standard black (IS-3102), extra dark black with a slight blue undertone, indicative (IS-3301), and deep black with carbon black (IS-3302). All four are liquid and used for concrete, roof tiles and paving stones.
